What is true of Christ Is True of You

1.   I am the salt of the earth (Matt.5:13). 

I am called to preserve the world around me with the essence of love, forgiveness, grace and godliness.

2.   I am the Light of the world (John. 8:12).

Since Jesus is the Light of the world, I reflect the same light always and darkness cannot overtake me.

3.   I am a child of God. (1 John. 3:1). 

I am the son/ daughter of the most High God, even in lonely times I remind myself of the heritage I have in Christ.

4.   I am part of the True vine (John. 15:1).

Jesus is the true vine since I am the branch my dependence is totally on him. My provision and my life are totally on Christ alone.

5.   I am chosen and appointed by Christ to bear fruit. (John. 15:16)

God has divinely chosen me from the foundation of the world so I bear good fruits.

6.   I am a slave of righteousness. (Romans 6: 8,9).

I offer myself to be made righteous by being continually under the Lordship of Jesus and I offer myself in continual service and be made righteous by Jesus’s death. 

7.   I am a joint heir with Christ, sharing His inheritance with Him. (Romans.8:17)

Great wealth of Christ is being shared by the privilege of being adopted into God’s family so I am the joint heir of Christ my Lord. 

8.   I am a temple of God, a dwelling place of God. (II Cor. 6:16 / I Cor. 3:16)

God chose to dwell in me because I am His temple which is a privilege and a blessing.

9.   His Spirit and His life dwell in me. (Ephesians. 3:17)

God’s Spirit continues to dwell in me so I am constantly in fellowship with the Holy Spirit and not alone.

10.             I am united to the Lord and am one spirit with Him.   (I Cor. 6:17)

Nothing can separate me from the love and grace of God since I am united in one Spirit.
