About me

Hi, I am Annie, wife to Mr. David, mother to 3 children and grandma to 5.

While working for 2 decades as a school teacher in Abu Dhabi Indian School in UAE, I received a call to leave my job and move with my family to a small, remote ‘long- forgotten’ village in South India to begin a school. Ever since then, my work has been in and around the villagers. Today there are educated young men and women serving the community.

Writing has always been a passion of mine, and I have published 3 books, of which two are in regional languages meant primarily for the villagers. The books are namely – ‘Why me, Lord?’, ‘Naan Yaen Dhevenae?’ and ‘Ungalin Niraivana Vazhvukku Vazhikattai’.

Even as a retired school principal, my desire is to continue to share hope to young and old, despite their age. Presently, my husband and myself continue to live in the village as empty- nesters as our children have moved on in life. This village, once without electricity and running water, is now not only thriving with these resources but also with the light of the Gospel.

As time ebbs away, I hope to speak to and meet many people and WRITE more to make the most of the time God has given me.
