My authority as Believer (7)- Is also my Health and wholeness

5)

There is a spiritual war going on, and as believers, we must be aware of it:

The devil has been attacking many of us for far too long. I love Romans 16:20, which says, “And the God of peace shall bruise Satan under your feet shortly.” Notice it says, the God of “peace.” Sometimes the only way to make peace is by engaging in spiritual battle. This is a prophetic word for many who are reading this. God is, even now, fighting on your behalf and is about to place Satan and all his demons, who have been coming against you, under your feet!

Here are a few areas where Christians should exercise their authority:

  1. Life and Prosperity: The scriptures say in John 10:10 that Jesus came to give us life and life in abundance. This abundance extends to every area of our lives – spiritually, mentally, emotionally, physically, and materially. Other passages like Deuteronomy 30:15 and 19, 3 John 2, and Jeremiah 29:11 also emphasize God’s desire for our prosperity and well-being.
  2. Health and Wholeness: The scripture says in Isaiah 53:3-5, “By His stripes, we are healed.” Psalms 103:1-5 and Romans 8:11 also declare health and healing. This healing encompasses not only physical but emotional and mental healing as well. Some reading this may be struggling with emotional scars that God is healing right now. Others may have been told they have a mental illness, and God is bringing healing as you read this. Receive it now by faith. The same Spirit who raised Jesus from the dead is bringing life and healing to someone’s physical body at this very moment.

The omnipotence of God’s power, which raised Jesus from the dead, is a mighty working of God. The resurrection had been opposed by the tremendous power of the prince of the air.

When we realize that the authority that belongs to Christ also belongs to individual members of the body of Christ and is available for them to use, our lives will undergo a transformation.

We are seated with Him in heavenly places, and all things have been placed under our feet. To share a throne means, without question, to partake of the authority that throne represents. Thank God that we have been elevated to this position and that we can exercise our spiritual authority.
