As the new year dawns, envision embarking on a transformative journey through the Bible which is  a radiant beacon of wisdom and inspiration. Our year-long reading plan is your roadmap to deeper understanding and a closer relationship with God. Explore life’s answers, find comfort in trouble, and discover your purpose. Join us as we navigate the Bible’s pages together, one month at a time.This year-long Bible reading journey is like a calendar with 12 distinct chapters.

 The Journey Ahead;

Why Read the Bible?  Before we dive into the details of this reading plan, let’s reflect on why reading the Bible is so important. The Bible is a timeless guide that offers answers to life’s deepest questions and provides us with the wisdom we need to navigate the complexities of our world. It’s a source of comfort in times of trouble and a wellspring of hope when we’re feeling lost.2 :All Scripture is God-breathed Tim 3:16-17 

 By immersing ourselves in its pages, we can discover God’s purpose for our lives and find the strength to live in accordance with His will.2 Tim 2:15:Do your best to present yourself to God as one approved, a worker who does not need to be ashamed and who correctly handles the word of truth.”

Our year-long reading plan is thoughtfully divided into monthly segments, allowing you to explore both the Old and New Testaments. Here’s a quick overview:

  • January: Begin with the creation story in Genesis and journey through the life of Jesus in the book of Matthew.
  • February: Explore the laws and regulations in Leviticus and witness the ministry of Jesus in the Gospel of Mark.
  • March: Travel through the wilderness with the Israelites in Numbers and Deuteronomy and follow Jesus’ journey in Luke.
  • April: Witness the conquest of Canaan in Joshua and experience the birth of the early church in the book of Acts.
  • May: Read about the judges and kings of Israel in the Old Testament and dive into the epistles of Romans.
  • June: Continue with the history of Israel and delve into Paul’s teachings in 1 Corinthians.
  • July: Experience the reigns of Solomon and other kings in 1 and 2 Kings, while exploring Paul’s letters in 2 Corinthians.
  • August: Witness the downfall of Israel and Judah in 2 Kings and find inspiration in the letters of Galatians and Ephesians.
  • September: Explore the Chronicles of Israel’s history and reflect on Paul’s letters to the Philippians and Colossians.
  • October: Learn about the restoration of Jerusalem in Ezra and Nehemiah, and delve into Paul’s teachings in 1 and 2 Thessalonians.
  • November: Find wisdom and perseverance in the stories of Esther and Job, and study Paul’s letters to Timothy and Titus.
  • December: End the year with the Psalms, a collection of heartfelt prayers and praises, and conclude with the book of Revelation, revealing God’s ultimate plan for the world.

       Each month is a fresh page, waiting to be filled with the vibrant colors of wisdom, grace, and revelation. As you turn the pages of time, you’re crafting a masterpiece of faith, with every chapter revealing a deeper layer of your spiritual canvas.
