Here is a checklist for a person who is on his way to Sanctification: 

1. A sanctified person is by nature kind, meek, pure, loving and dwelling in God  always. All these characteristics which are displayed in a sanctified person are Godly.
2. He is delivered from all sins and protected  by the Blood of Jesus.
3. He is found dead to sin and self by the Blood of Jesus.
4. In a sanctified person, Peace prevails in body, mind and spirit through the very presence of Jesus in his life with true submission to do His will and plan.
5. In a sanctified person’s life turmoil, confusion and struggles  gradually gets limited and under control.
6. A sanctified person is being led by the Holy Spirit in all life events.
7. He is delivered from the past pains and being found calm, during  times of tests and trials. Earlier the prince of this world, Satan has been trying to establish his kingdom inside, but now since ‘I’ have crucified my old man on the cross  with Jesus and as he is continually offering his body to be a living sacrifice in the worship of God. He is seeking only the heavenly things, not  seeking earthly things, in effect he is no more in bond with the old man that is his own old self.
8. He is peaceable with all men through the limitless indwelling of the Holy Spirit.
9. As he is transformed, and his mind is filled with the Word of God and his thought life is being filled with the Holy Spirit,  he is free from sin and  the fear of death.
10. Even if  the worldly tests and temptations work against him constantly, the Holy Spirit has made him sanctified, by the Blood of Jesus Christ and he is being hidden from the world through the death in Christ.
