Autobiography(01)- Paul’s testimony-

This is a typical biography of the author of half of the New Testament, Paul. He didn’t have a favorable start in life, much like many of us. However, he took a chance to follow Christ. When you write your own biography and testimony, you can follow this blueprint. Each of us has a past that begins from our early years, and our lives undergo transformation.

In Paul’s time, he was given an opportunity to speak for himself, which eventually became part of Scripture. He also became a model for testimony. Paul took this opportunity and asked his audience to listen patiently. He began by sharing details about his earliest childhood. He also mentioned his exceptional education as a Pharisee.

He recounted how he used to believe (vs.9), and then one day (vs.12), a turning point occurred. What does a turning point look like? It’s the encounter with God! From verse 19 onward, he talked about his vision from heaven. In verse 22, he mentioned that God had protected him until the present moment, indicating that God chooses to protect those who are His.

During his testimony, Festus accused him of insanity, but Agrippa interrupted and mocked him. Nonetheless, Paul replied that both he and his audience (which includes people from various generations) are witnesses. In life, we have audiences that can include our now generation, our friends, family, colleagues, and even our future children.

Therefore, it’s crucial to pass down our testimony to the next generations, as mentioned in Romans 10:14-15 (New Living Translation):

“How can they hear about Him unless someone tells them? So we have an opportunity to share with those in our generation—our society, family, and friends.”
