Warfare is already going on the minute you come to Christ; we are in the war. The minute we sign up for Jesus, we are in enemy territory. The Prince of this world, the world is in his hands. We become the opponents. We need to wage the war in the right way (Ephesians 6) and be in an understanding that if God is for us, then who can be against us? God said He will fight for you. Having all this on our side, we also indulge in a battle. Also, we know that our words are powerful; when we declare a war, then the enemy needs to be subdued. We cannot see with our visual eyes, but in the spiritual world, we are more than conquerors in Christ Jesus.
Some of the constant sicknesses, mind, the dark world – warfare prayer elements. At the end of the prayer, stand tall; there is no armor for the back of the body, so don’t run away. We need to stand and fight. If we run, we are giving in to the enemy. “Having done all this, STAND!” While standing, do these prayers.
Below is an outline for you to pray your warfare prayer. You may print it and use it for yourself.
“Father, I bow in worship. I surrender myself completely to you. I am covered with the blood of the Lord Jesus Christ as my protection and am submitted to God. I resist the devil, and he must flee. In the name of Jesus, I bring the blood of the Lamb against all the works of the enemy.
I have mighty spiritual weapons. I choose to stand aggressively in the full armor, which is Jesus Himself. I claim all His victory today. I am now seated in Heaven with him. In Jesus’ name, the enemy is under my feet. In Jesus’ name, I tear down the stronghold of Satan and reject all his plans formed against my body, mind, will, and emotions. I reject all his schemes of hindrance, insinuation, accusation, temptation, lies, and deception.
The word of God is true, and I will obey you and abide in you. I put off the works of the old man, and I stand in the victory of Jesus to cleanse me from the flesh and enable me to live above all sin. I put off all my greatest struggles in all the areas.
The blood of the spotless Lamb of God is our shield of protection from the destructive intent of the enemy. Jesus has given us legitimate authority to tread on all the power of the enemy, and nothing shall injure us (Luke 10:9).
Our weapons through God are mighty to pull down the enemy stronghold. In the name of Jesus, in His authority, by His blood, according to His word, and in the Power of the Holy Spirit, we pull down every stronghold of the enemy in our lives.
I stand on victory ground for today. I claim all the works of the cross of Jesus, His resurrection power, His ascended authority, and Pentecost for all my victory. You are Lord of all my life today. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
