Our Combat Zone (4)- Innate sense that there is more than what the eye can see

As we have already mentioned, there exists a spiritual realm, and we have no choice but to believe that these forces exist just as much as our physical realm does. Furthermore, since we do not battle against flesh and blood, we must take an offensive stance in this combat zone.

We can all affirm that our belief and faith can be summarized as follows: We believe in Jesus Christ, even though we cannot see Him, and we believe that He died on the cross for our sins. He was also resurrected from the grave by the Father and is the source of our eternal salvation. All these beliefs may not be physically visible to us today.

We believe that Jesus accomplished these things in the spiritual realm when He lived in the physical realm on earth. He became an example for us to do the same.

The Victory of Job:

As we gain a revelation of spiritual warfare, we will begin to understand how the enemy operates against us in the physical realm.

Job is a perfect example of a spiritual conflict that manifested in the physical form. His family, finances, and home were destroyed, and his health and friends turned against him. Job experienced very real physical and circumstantial conflicts. God regarded Job as a righteous man, but Satan wanted to prove God wrong, making Job the victim of Satan’s attacks.

However, Job also emerged as the victor because of his faithfulness to God in words and actions throughout the trial. His victory was both spiritual and material on earth as it is in heaven.

There have been others who were able to see with their physical eyes into the spiritual realm. In the Bible, we see examples where God allowed men like Elisha, his servant, and Daniel to ‘see’ into the spiritual realm, as described in II Kings 6:11-17 and Daniel 10:7-17.

When we begin to believe in the spiritual realm, the Lord is with us and provides for us through His angels as He chooses. The Lord loves us and protects us physically as He works things out spiritually.
