The Bible, guided by the Holy Spirit, graciously unveils the invisible world and makes us aware of the spiritual war. Without the scriptures, we would be battling an invisible enemy without even knowing that we are at war.
Satan, along with his fallen angels, is the enemy who eagerly seeks to hinder the advancement of the kingdom of God. He aims to destroy us, rendering us ineffective against his work. Do we always feel this way, especially when we skip meetings with people, prayers, etc.?
Jesus told us in Matthew 28:18 that, “All authority has been given to me in heaven and on earth.” We now have the privilege of having an eternal relationship with God. We all need to be aware that we have entered into that covenant of salvation by grace. However, this verse is not only about our salvation; it is also about our ongoing salvation, which leads to victorious living in Christ.
Every day, victory is to be won by knowing, believing, and understanding the battles we face daily, whether we choose to be passive or active in these battles.
Ask yourselves, “Why do I even want to fight?” It will do you no good to be uneducated in the battle if you see no ‘reason’ for the fight. As I mentioned before, if we want to ‘win’ the battle, we need to be ‘in the battle.’ We are either victors or victims. Jesus has come and conquered. The war is already won in the heavens. We are just to partake in His sufferings. So, are you convinced and willing to step into the battle?
You can wait until you get to heaven to receive victory and blessings, or you can enjoy them today, right now.
