Your value in Christ (1) -Your knowledge of yourself

Lord Jesus,

My soon and coming King ,as I sit at your feet open my eyes of understanding to see myself as you would see me help me to discard all the ungodly stuff that limit my value in you Lord .Help me to cut down all the negative criticism as the enemy keeping projecting and through the Blood of Jesus help me see myself so precious and most valuable possession. Amen

What do you feel about yourself? Have you ever taken time to think about actually having to be with yourself all the time? You are the one person who never gets away from you even if you don’t like yourself. If you don’t get along with yourself you are doomed to hate yourself, but you need to love yourself and enjoy the good life God has given you.

Since God loved us so much that he gave his only son as a sacrifice for us that it would rather be  disrespectful and insulting despising ourselves.

What is it that you don’t like about yourself?

Take an inventory and then make a decision today to develop a new and more positive attitude towards yourself. Living in self rejection and self-hatred is a horrible way to live. Most of the time people don’t love and approve of themselves.

Therefore they seek attention from others rather than getting it from God which gives them a sense of being valuable and loveable. When they don’t get what they are  seeking from other people, they feel rejected.

Thus negative feelings increase and thereby  this attitude is an open door for Satan.

I was always a fearful person as I felt that I was not doing the right thing. I never felt good enough, no matter what I did I always felt as if I needed more. I felt God was displeased with me even though that was not accurate. It was true, because I believed it and I was deceived. We must change our thoughts  from feeling unlovable and also  anxious. Being  confident and composed will make everyone in the room totally captivated and  enchanted by one’s  presence.

Work on Facing Your Fears. Set a Challenge for Yourself. Cut Down on Self-Criticism and Practice Self- Compassion.

Visualise Who and Where You Want to be in your near and far future and  practise Self-Compassion. Remember the twin principles of successful  living which is based on having faith in Jesus and continuous  desire to please God.
